All I Needed Was the Rain

Alas!

Today after a score

The solitary rose in the meadow

Triggers my heart to pound

Throbs my head

Reminds me when in the surge of my romance

I had plucked it

And decked into your coat pocket

Now with my eyes dried of endless wails

I await the heaven

To pour down a gush

Sprinkling the rose petals

With the drops like my tears

I would pluck the rose

And deck it onto your grave.
