IMPERCEPTIBLE
Like moon’s pull on ebbs and tides
The doubts, that follow after pride
Hatred buried deep in hearts
The pauses before pace picks up
The composure disguising a heart’s fall
The calm lying in eye of storm
The words whispered in nipping breeze
The meaning concealed in one’s glance
The memories stirred, unalarmed
The chaos that ensues, despite perfect sense
Desperation veiled by shallow indifference
Curiosity playing with ignorant thoughts
Eyes carrying questions masked
A throbbing heart behind calm smile
And a subtle need, behind “All is fine.”
Imperceptible, while still so discerned
